As a Senior Commercial Financial Manager, youll be part of the EMEA Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, designed to bring a high level of analytical experience coupled with the ability to provide leadership to the Biosciences Division (BID). As part of the FP&A team reporting straight line into the Finance Director, youll be ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of key commercial forecasting, planning and reporting activities. Youll be joining an established, experienced team playing a critical role in helping Thermo Fisher to achieve our mission - enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.This is a full time, permanent opportunity.What will you do • Leading on providing detailed financial forecasting and reporting to the commercial BID organization• Working with the Genetic Testing Solutions (GTS) and Emerging Regions teams to ensure combined BID position with company matrix for all processes;• Reviewing and designing the appropriate commercial finance support mechanisms and implement change as needed• Providing a leadership role in the future of finance initiatives;• Supporting the BID planning process through strategic financial analysis, in collaboration with the GTS lead, Marketing department and sales structures;• Supporting operative and strategic decisions and suggest corrective actions;• Leading on monthly and quarterly business reviews to support the regional senior directors and to identify actions to improve the business;• Supporting in Go To Market strategies and integration processes;• Working with BID Global team to drive alignment with EMEA region;• Providing Margin analysis support as necessary;• Recruiting, coaching and developing a team of financial analyst(s) - 2 direct reports at this time;• Complete special projects as requestedWho we are looking for:• Strong FP&A commercial awareness and judgment expertise• Direct leadership experience ideally within an FP&A environment• Ability to influence and strategically partner with individuals of various educational and technical backgrounds using Data driven initiatives• Advanced Systems experience: MS Excel, Hyperion & CMR• Modelling / forecasting experience with strong problem-solving skillsAbout us:Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is the world leader in serving science, with annual revenue exceeding $25 billion.
