Job Description

Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to work for a leading independent technology innovation centre.The successful candidate for the role of Programme Manager will manage the design, build and implementation of the new facility. Working closely with the technical team, contractors and senior level stakeholders to establish the facility and realise requirements.Responsibilities include;

Acting as the main point of communication between the contractor and company to ensure risks and understood and addressed in a timely manner.
Work closely with the technical lead to ensure project delivery remains in scope and to agreed cost.
Oversee the management of activities of the project delivery teams, supporting technical leads to ensure clear roles, responsibilities and objectives are defined, planned, and represent the customer’s requirements.

Requirements include;Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in a Scientific, Engineering or Business discipline. with significant experience.Alternately, candidates will have demonstrable significant experience within a senior Project Manager role and understand the fundamentals of Project Management. and hold a Project Manager qualification such as APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)or an International Project Management Association (IPMA) Level D qualification equivalent.Proven experience in on-time delivery of technical, multidisciplinary projects and controlling multiple concurrent projects are essential.Management of single projects in excess of £500k and adept in financial and project processes.
