We have an exclusive opportunity for a graduate to join our clients Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow in an Accounts Managerial role.Established 18 years ago, our client has grown significantly year on year, supplying products to various sectors such as chemical and food manufacturers throughout the UK and Mainland Europe. We are looking for an ambitious individual, who is highly analytical, has first class communication skills and is keen to progress within our clients organisation. You will be part of our Accounts & Finance Team, benefiting from working in a spacious and modernenvironment, which boasts an onsite gym and kitchen facilities.Candidates should hold a relevant accounts / finance degree or equivalent and will ideally have gained some commercial accounting experience (Graduates with intern commercial exposure will be considered). ICAS accreditation or working towards (or equivalent)is highly desirable. Our client will offer support towards gaining accreditation throughout employment.The role will enable you to work closely with the Directors and Managers of the business, providing them with accurate information on the companys evolving financial position that will support future sales strategies and investment decisions.Core Duties/Responsibilities: Processing Sales Invoices / Credit Notes.Dealing with customer queries, POD requests and liaising with sales team regarding price queries.Dealing with customer requests for copy invoices.Producing, checking and sending customer statements monthly.Coding & processing service invoices.Credit card reconciliations, coding & processing.Daily Banking - posting all customer/supplier payments to SAGE.Setting up new customer accounts, carrying out credit & reference checks.Setting up new supplier accounts.Credit Control.Monthly Sales Reports.Monthly supplier payments.Monthly negative stock report.Quarterly VAT Returns.Daily banking - processing customer & supplier payments.Producing monthly debtor report.Processing monthly direct debits.Setting up new direct debit mandates.Monthly reconciliation of E-commerce payments.Managing of monthly Product Tax credits for customers.What we are looking for:Excellent Communication Skills.
