Job Description

Job Title:Care Assistant/Domestic Support WorkerLocations:Throughout RenfrewshirePay Rate:£10.02 per hourShifts available:flexible, most availability considered, school hours available.No experience required as specialist training will be provided!Could you be a best friend - Always wanted to be a carer without the aspect of personal careThen this could be the role for you!Driving licence preferred but not essential in some areas.We Care, We Listen, We Build, We StriveHere at SCRT, we have an amazing opportunity to become part of our dynamic and supportive community care team. We are looking for Care Assistants to join the team in delivering an extremely high standard of care to our service users who are living independentlyin their own homes.Being a Care Assistant here at SCRT on our sitter/domestic/shopping shifts is not about providing personal care supportits about building connections and becoming a best friend!So if you are looking for a role that is both rewarding and fulfilling this could be for you!Duties will include:

  • Preparing and serving meals/snacks
  • Light domestic duties (laundry, hoovering, dusting, making up beds & washing dishes)
  • Medication support
  • Grocery shopping
  • Picking up prescriptions
  • Supporting to appointments/social arrangements
  • Companionship
