Job Description

We are a busy independent sales, lettings and management agency based in the affluent area of Reigate. We are looking for a full-time permanent Office Assistant/Property Administrator which will be a varied and exciting role, encompassing different aspectsof the business focusing on managing our portfolio of rental properties, assisting the sales team and dealing with marketing to allow the office to function and continue to grow.The applicant should be motivated, hard-working, organised, comfortable answering the phone and speaking to clients and vitally able to work as part of a team.Tasks

  • Answering telephone calls, dealing with the enquiry and directing the call as appropriate
  • Administrating & managing a portfolio of properties
  • Visiting and inspecting properties
  • Building client and contractor relationships
  • The assistant/property administrator will be assisting the Managing Director and the sales team
  • The assistant/property administrator will be assisting with marketing, advertising & social media
Experience/Qualifications
  • Excellent and professional telephone manner essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook is essential
  • UK driving licence and vehicle essential
  • The assistant/property administrator will have the ability to work to deadlines under pressure
  • Versatility in switching from one task to another throughout the day
  • The assistant/property administrator will have the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Office administration experience and/or experience within the property sector is desirable, but not essential
  • Will consider applicants with various levels of experience
Hours & Remuneration
  • Working hours are standard office hours based on a five-day week including one Saturday a month, on a flexible rota
  • Holiday is initially 28 days including bank holidays which rises with length of service
  • Salary is £17,000-£19,000 with potential to rise
