Job Description

Our client a highly Successful International Organisation are currently recruiting based in Redhill, Surrey but the client has a Hybrid Working PatternClient DetailsOur client a highly Successful International Organisation are currently recruiting for a Reconciliations Accountant based in Redhill, Surrey but the client has a Hybrid Working PatternDescriptionAs the Reconciliations Accountant you will be responsible for

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations in line with timetable, process and controls in place.
  • Identify and prepare summary of outstanding items to be queried with the wider finance team.
  • Liaise with finance colleagues to investigate and resolve reconciling items.
  • Raise and post journals to the finance system for any adjustments that may be necessary from the investigation of the reconciling items.
  • Follow finance processes as properly and accurately documented
  • Attend and actively participate in review meetings with your manager, giving accurate status updates on your deliverables and raising any queries or issues.
  • Support your manager and finance colleagues with any queries that may arise with related to bank accounts.
  • Communicate any issues that need further investigation & assistance by technical team.
Profile
  • Experienced and confident financial professional with demonstrated Bank Reconciliations experience.
  • Studying towards a Finance qualification or Qualified by experience is fine
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to completion of our deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills with a helpful, flexible, pro-active and solution oriented approach / someone with a positive approach and the ability to engage and inspire others.
  • Evidence of being able to work successfully in a fast moving and international environment
  • Fluent in Microsoft office suite (Excel/ Word)
  • Experienced with Peoplesoft is desirable but not essential
Job OfferReconciliations Accountant
  • Salary £34,000 - £40,000
  • Bonus of up to 5% -10%
  • Study Support but you dont need to be studying
  • Monday to Friday 9-5 with an hours lunch (35 hours a week),
  • Hybrid Working with 3 days a week from home, two days in the office
