Job Description

We are looking for an Insurance Operations Administrator to join our Shared Service Operations Centre based in Redhill. This is an entry level role and an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start thier career in a professional industry. With trainingprovided, you will work as part of a team to support Underwriting teams to deliver new and renewal business. You will also assist external customers (Brokers and Insured’s) with policy and service enquiries.Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro ratafor part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.This role is eligible for a £2000 new joiner bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.On a day to day basis you will;

    • Set up new quotes, analysing submissions, analysing reports, policy Issuance (new & renewals), cancellations/ lapses/ MTA/ slip recording/ null declarations/ notice of cancellations.
    • Manage, identify and gather relevant account information to support Underwriters with renewal, new business, mid-term alteration activities Essential
    • Use various IT Systems to prepare information to support Underwriting activity
    • Ensure accurate and timely servicing and debiting of accounts and assists credit control with premium collection as required.
    • Thoroughly review incoming policy documentation for completeness and compliance with guidelines. Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval.
    • Perform data cleansing and data input of additional risk data required
    • Provide the Claim department with account coverage information as requested.
    • Produce exception reports and act on them in a timely manner to ensure accurate details are maintained on the Underwriting System including premium estimates, exposures, reinsurance cessions and regulatory coding
    • Scan all submission information onto the document repository within the designated timeframe.
    • Ensure that all relevant submission information is included for the peer review, risk entry and data checking review process within the designated timeframe.
    • Maintain, action and process all electronic documentation within the agreed service level agreement and ensure all documentation is indexed to the relevant company document repository.

    • GCSE qualifications or equivalent.
    • Experience of using pivot tables in Excel.
    • Experience of creating presentation documents in PowerPoint.
    • Experience of creating and update basic documents in Word.
