This position has the potential to diversify and progress into other areas of the business.The role:- Salary of up to £26,000 per annum DOE- Up to 10% employer contribution towards Avivas Group Personal Pension Plan- Free on-site parking or in local areaAs a Grab Driver, you will drive and operate a grab lorry to support our operations in Redhill.Some of your duties will include:- Supervising a Grab Driver’s Mate- Working in line with health and safety guidelines at all times- Loading and unloading materials- Backfilling excavations- Completing site-based risk assessments- Carrying out routine checks and maintaining plantOther organisations may call this role LGV Driver, Grab Driving Operative, Lorry Driver, Senior Distribution Operative, or Large Goods Vehicle Driver.About you:Here at SES Water, experience and qualifications aren’t everything. We are looking for a Grab Driver who:- Is a good team player- Understands that this job will involve a high volume of manual tasks and working in all weathers- Has a flexible and positive attitude- Has an LGV Category C driving licence- Has CPCS lorry loader training (with Clam, Bucket & Hook)An NVQ qualification in Building Skills would be beneficial to your application.
