Job Description

Data AnalystRedditchData Analyst required for a permanent role with a growing company based in Redditch.My client is looking for a Data Analyst to analyse and interpret key data to support the Customer Service Director in making key decisions on business improvements.Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Weekly KPI Reporting across all business activities
  • Analysing and reporting on key KPIs
  • Utilising key business data to build dashboards and reports to help measure cost savings and new initiatives
  • Working with new tools to take reporting to the next level
  • Extracting data from numerous sources/systems and consolidating into management reporting
  • Provide support to understand the impact on supply and demand
  • Playing a part identifying points of improvement through analysing customer intel and data
  • Support the Customer Service department Senior management with ad-hoc requests to support business growth
  • Report on daily and weekly warehouse & Supplier performances and volumes
  • Understand the drivers behind unexpected volume variances,
  • Strong experience working without defined processes and with numerous data sources and potentially "messy" data pipelines
  • Ability to merge data from different data points into meaningful reports
Key skills and experience include:
  • Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Sage 200
  • SQL Report writing
  • Development/coding experience
  • Strong experience working without defined processes and with numerous data sources and potentially "messy" data pipelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of data quality and data governance
