Job Description

A quick look at the roleThe Finance Manager will work with the administrative team to review and improve documented processes and procedures across the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure they are robust and efficient. This wouldsuit an individual who has experience of leading a transactional team and who can influence, educate and share their knowledge.Your core responsibilities

  • Leading and facilitating process improvements across the ledger teams working practices and systems
  • Improving written procedures and ensuring adoption and adherence across the business
  • Developing existing resource knowledge and capability across the team
  • Assisting with both internal and external audit queries and actions
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Work with various functions across the business, including operations, commercial and maintenance teams
  • Supporting the evolution of the fixed asset register
Our essential requirements
  • Experience of leading a transactional finance team, and driving process improvements
  • Experience of working with and supporting operational and commercial staff across multiple locations
  • Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and (ideally) Navision
