Role: -Regulatory Officer (Chemicals)Location: - North Yorkshire, RedcarSalary: - Competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, flexitime, discounted gym, and restaurant onsite & company pension.Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity to join a global testing company in a regulatory position within a chemical based laboratory. Our client is looking for someone with industrial based regulatory experience, but can be open to what type of industrythe experience has been gained in. However, you must have exposure to REACH and working knowledge of global Food Contact. Responsibilities • Design and deliver strategies to demonstrate packaging compliance and support regulatory submissions, supply chain compliance evaluation projects and regulatory solution for any client issues.• Maintain and develop the customer base for regulatory and REACH activities through client contact.• Work closely with the laboratory team and consultants to devise scientific and strategic compliance plans.• Quote complete programmes of work to meet customers regulatory requirements. • Complete written technical reports to meet REACH requirements.• Train and mentor junior members of the team. • Liaise with various departments to obtain information so that work is completed in an efficient manner.• Build relationships with customers.The Person• Educated to degree or equivalent in chemistry related subject.• Strong working knowledge of REACH and regulatory activities.• Strong background in Global Food Contact.• Understanding of toxicological and risk assessment principles.• Excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent time management.• Have commercial awareness and ability to communicate to clients at all levels.• Knowledge of Classification, Labelling and Packaging regulation or understanding of the Globally Harmonised System (advantageous).Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
