Engineer VacanciesWe are recruiting for a number of permanent Engineering positions including: Instrumentation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and a Mechanical Plant Engineer. Basedin: Wilton International, TeessideSalary: Negotiable - Whilst all salaries are graded, Sembcorp are keen to attract, retain and develop the highest calibre of colleague.Type: PermanentHours: Monday- FridayPosition overview:The roles are primarily based at the Wilton site but may include occasional projects across the UK.Instrumentation Engineer - Will develop instrumentation assets including raising defect work orders, engineering MOC, basic design for new installations, approving drawings designed by others, assisting maintenance on more complex problem solving, managingresource and supervising contractors.Electrical Engineer - Will support the Operations team with any electrical related activity, this could be troubleshooting, fault finding, maintenance and installations ensuring that all work carried out meets IEE and British Standards.Mechanical Engineer -Shall support both daily engineering issues, and also offer engineering support and specification for outage events, with the overall responsibility for compliance and technical issues associated with the Wilton 10 Biomass Plant.Plant Mechanical Engineer - Shall support both daily engineering issues, and also offer engineering support and specification for outage events, with the overall responsibility for compliance and technical issues associated with GT1, GT2 and Package BoilerAssets.A short summary of responsibilities but not limited to:Instrumentation Engineer:Management of Fiscal & Regulatory metering inspections, site standard and management of Sembcorp UK MPs for metering all services.Positively encourage a culture of safety firstEnsure the EC&I and Contractors adhere to safe systems of workEnsure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and statutory requirementsElectrical Engineer:To carry out testing and inspection and rectifications works on electrical equipment across the fleetTo assemble, install, test, certify and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixturesTo plan and carry out small projects in conjunction with the Electrical TeamTo install and maintain three phase and single phase control circuits for motors, pumps and fansMechanical Engineer:Positively encourage a culture of safety first. "Walk the talk".Champion compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and statutory requirements.Become an expert with regards to the mechanical integrity of the W10 Biomass Boiler and associated Balance of Plant, including Large Scale Feedwater Pumps, Compressors and Conveyor Systems.Working across all assets of the business to support and sustain operation, through Planned Maintenance Optimisation and Asset Tactics, a strategy to deliver plant and equipment performance in line with commercial obligations.Plant Mechanical Engineer:Become an expert with regards to the mechanical integrity associated with the specific asset area, including pipework, relief streams, steam systems and HRSGs.Working across all assets of the business to support and sustain operation, through Planned Maintenance Optimisation and Asset Tactics, a strategy to deliver plant and equipment performance in line with commercial obligations.To ensure the strategic objectives of the business are met by initiating, leading and delivering projects and solutions.Essential:Demonstrable experience in either relevant fieldDegree qualified (BEng preferred)Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within the Energy sector or within an industry with transferable skillsStatistical and analytical analysis skills.Demonstrable problem-solving skills, root cause investigation experience and working knowledge of 6 Sigma tools and techniques.Strong technical capabilitySelf-motivated and have excellent communication and project management skills.Self-motivation is also a key skill.For more information on this opportunity please contact the retained recruitment partner Adam Pearson at Imperial Recruitment Group
