About the roleAdvantage Healthcare are looking for experienced healthcare assistants, who are compassionate, kind and supportive, to become part of our proud team.We require support in the Redcar area, for a young girl with complex needs. Staff supporting this young girl will provide support within her own home and school and will be working alongside her current care team.As part of the support team at Advantage you will be responsible for: Providing excellent person centred care in a sensitive and confidential manner. Understanding and adhering to care plans, seeking clarification from the healthcare coordinator or clinical lead nurse when required to do so. Being able to work in a professional manner with all healthcare professionals involved in the care of the service user.The service user requires support with the following, assistance with mobility, feeding via peg, administration of medication as instructed in the care plan (this can include, monitoring self-medication, the prompting of medication and the administrationof medication) and personal care.What we can offer you: Flexible working available to fit around family or study Both full and part time hours available 12-hour day and night shift work, up to £10.50 per hour plus accrued holiday pay for every hour worked 4 weekly pay Regular supervisions Annual appraisal Full support and comprehensive Training Specific to the client will be given Free training and full DBS check
