Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operators at their plastics recycling plant in Redcar.Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 2 day shifts then 2-night shift.Rates of pay: £10.15 per hour + shift allowance with opportunity for overtime paid at 1.5.A quick look at the role.To operate and monitor machinery including a FLT (Forklift) to a safe and satisfactory standard, Communicate any problems or obstacles to immediate supervisor, Strive to reduce waste and increase productivity across all lines & Support your shift colleaguesin achieving excellence in health and safety, product quality, asset performance and employee engagement on shift.Within Resources & Energy the focus is on the treatment, recycling and disposal of waste. It provides a number of treatment services for those materials that can be recovered and landfill disposal for those that are not suitable for recyclingor energy recover.Our clients Polymers business is a leading producer of recycled plastic compounds from its facilities in Redcar and Seaham. Redcar products include HDPE one plastic used in the production of milk bottles and food trays - the first of itskind in the UK. Our clients Seaham plant is also capable of converting 57,000 tonnes of PET plastic a year. Equivalent to 1.3bn plastic bottles.Why its an opportunity not to be wasted.
