Additionally, private medical insurance will be available to you.What will you be doing Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts including standard cost variances, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet controls and profit and loss analysis. Youll manage a team of three and be required to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a lot of variety. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, ensuring to produce accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports. You will identify and implement improvements to the company reporting processes. Budgeting and forecasting also play a vital part of the role, as you will be responsible for preparing the budget for the entity alongside the Finance Director, proactively highlighting any issues and variances. Additionally, you will be involved in the processing of VAT returns and will also become a main point of contact with auditors, for which training can be provided.About you…You might be qualified (CIMA or equivalent), or perhaps youd consider yourself to be qualified by experience. You are hard-working and proactive, and are not afraid of evolving in a challenging environment, where priorities can change. Perhaps you will have some knowledge of manufacturing accounting and processes, with an understanding of standard costing and labour and material variances, however, this is desirable and not essential. You are analytical with key attention to detail, and the willingness to understand and investigate financial information. You consider yourself to have advanced Excel skills, and consider yourself to be good with systems. There will be the opportunity for quite a lot of involvement in the ERP system implementation which is currently in process.
