Is your career going down the drain Do you want to unblock your career and get it flowing again Would you like to work for one of Europes leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancies as part of a specialist drilling solutions team This is your chance to work as a Drainage Technician in Redcar near Middlesbrough for one of the top 10 UK environmental consultancies, a company ranked in the top 50 of the Sunday Times Fastrack 200 list. As a Drainage Technician this is your chance to work on all types of drilling and ground investigations works, including subsidence, contaminated land assessment, CCTV drains surveys/repairs and foundation design. You will be part of a specialist team work on domestic and commercial ground source drilling, making a detailed investigation and inspections. Current clients include loss adjusters, consulting engineers, property developers, private homeowners, house builders and geo-environmental engineers. In the role as Drainage Technician, you will be joining a team based in Redcar, you will be responsible for actively maintaining drainage networks on a reactive or scheduled basis to contract specifications. Drawing on 2 years experience in a similar position as well as good knowledge of grading drains will be essential to allowing you to carry out the day-to-day tasks of this role, these will include maintaining sewer / stormwater systems, including regular prescribed checks on grilles, overflow manholes and other drainage assets. This experience will give you the ability to maintain and operate high pressure cleaners while understanding the use of CCTV in problem solving and locating Rodding - unblocking drainage systems. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence as well as a CSCS Card.
