About the opportunity:We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a leading supplier of marine safety products.We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Customer Operations Manager to join their busy, hardworking and friendly team,This is an exciting and complex role which will see you leading operational projects, supporting Sales Managers and the wider business in delivering the business strategic objective of "Customer Intimacy", as well as managing and trainingthe Customer Support team to meet the needs of customers, improving operational efficiency and the overall customer experience.The successful candidate will have proven experience within a similar role with a passion for delivering customer excellence, sound business acumen, and excellent leadership skills.If you are looking for your next challenge then we want to hear from you!RequirementsWhat we are looking forThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous customer service management experience
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment where on time product delivery to customers is paramount.
  • Previous experience in sales
  • Ability to lead a small but busy team and is able to be proactive in balancing multiple priorities at any given time.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and tenacious with a strong work ethic
  • Organised, methodical and a good process/people balance
  • Logical thinker who is able to solve problems and keep a cool head
  • Prepared to make decisions, pragmatic and rational with a solutions focus
  • Change orientated, responsive, open minded and innovative
  • Strong team player, conscientious, trustworthy and reliable
  • Hands on management style.
  • Strong coaching and personal development skills
  • Commercially astute
  • PC Literate with high skills in Powerpoint, Word, Outlook and Excel, due to the nature of our ERP system report manipulation in Excel for example knowledge in simple rules like Vlookup,and Sumifs is essential.

  • A competitive salary of circa £30k pa dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Monday to Thursday 9am - 515pm Friday 9am - 245pm
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
