Job Description

Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to head up an Accounts Payable & Receivable team of a large company based in Redcar.This is a 9-month fixed term contract.Responsibilities:

  • Leading and facilitating process improvements across the ledger teams working practices and systems
  • Improving written procedures and ensuring adoption & adherence across the business
  • Developing existing resource knowledge and capability across the team
  • Assisting with both internal and external audit queries and actions
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders. The role will actively work with various functions across the business, including operations, commercial and maintenance teams.
  • Supporting the evolution of the fixed asset register
Requirements:
  • Experience of leading a transactional finance team, and driving process improvements
  • Experience of working with operational and commercial staff across multiple locations
  • Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and (ideally) Navision
