Job Description

Qualified PractitionerRayleighKindred RayleighABC Rainbow Rayleigh has recently joined the Kindred family and are excited to be looking for a Nursery Practitioner (40 hours per week - Monday-Friday) to join the Kindred family and to be part of the magic.Your main duties will include:

  • Maintaining childrens profiles, registers and other paperwork
  • Working closely with parents and/or carers as partners to build good relationships and offering support
  • Providing a safe, stimulating and educational environment for the children to learn, play and develop
  • Completing observations on allocated key children and use those observations to complete termly achievement reports
  • Be a key person/play partner taking overall responsibility for your childrens care, welfare and learning
  • Always ensuring close supervision of children

This is a full-time role, requiring you to work 40 hours per week. You will be required to be involved in out of working hours activities, such as training, monthly staff meetings and fundraising events as required.To be successful for this role, you must:
  • Have a relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or above
  • Have experience working with children ages 0-5
  • Have experience working with and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
