Job Description

Title: HR Advisor (9 month contract)Location: BenfleetSalary: £28,000 - £30,000Days/ Hour of work: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 04:30The company My client is looking for a proactive and organised HR Advisor to help in the HR department on a 9 month maternity contact. The opportunity will allow you to work with a friendly supportive team, experiencing various aspects of an HR position. You will beresponsible for liaising with department managers, arranging interview and overseeing compliance. They are looking for someone confident, proactive, organised and engaging.Benefits

Duties
  • Providing high quality HR advice to managers and employees
  • Arranging interviews
  • Coordinating with 3rd parties
  • Liaising with department managers
  • Collating and inputting employee data
  • Overseeing compliance and vetting information
  • On-boarding - coordinating all aspects of the new member of staffs induction to the business, including issuing contacts
  • Keeping staff records up to date
  • You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries from the management team
  • Performance management - taking action when necessary, including sending out paperwork, scheduling meetings conducting meetings and follow up
  • Managing the grievance process
  • Mentoring junior members of staff
  • Processing overtime, sickness and other absences
  • Providing advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers
  • Other adhoc HR Administrative duties when required
The ideal candidate
  • Youll have significant experience of working in a HR Advisor position
  • You have good communication skills
  • You will have a basic understanding of employment legislation
  • You have an ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • You have strong attention to detail
  • You are Customer focused
  • You have a good knowledge of MS packages
  • You have a proactive mindset
