Its why were looking for someone who sees the world in a similar way to take up an exciting MaintenanceTechnician role in our Merseyside Glass Cullet Processing Facility.Because of our responsibility when it comes to leading change, resourcing takes every single one of us, and this is how you can play your part. And if youre qualified with a Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, this role will suit you perfectly.What will you be doing

  • Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are followed
  • Complete nightly engineering checks such as, Fire-watch checks, Guard checks, Machine checks, Emergency stops
  • Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors)
  • Complete work orders / requests
  • Reactive to breakdowns
  • Report defects
  • Ensure handover completed start/end of each shift
  • Looking for Process Improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant
What are we looking for
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential
  • Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable
  • Computer literate
  • Self starter and team player
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work unsupervised at times
