THE GIG The Shift Supervisor will work hand in hand with the Shift Manager, steering the shift through the day-to-day challenges. When the Shift Manager steps out, you step up, owning the shift in the Shift Manager’s absence, driving us forwardin alignment with our mission to deliver top-notch service at best cost. The Distribution Centre (DC) operates a 3-shift pattern, with a monthly rotation, covering 5 out of 7 days. Your schedule will keep you on your toes, working any 5 days in 7. One month,youll rock the AM shift, then switch to PM for the next, and maybe dance through the night for the following month. Its a dynamic routine that keeps things interesting. As our Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for: · Directing and deploying a team of Warehouse Operatives and Agency staff, your keen eye will monitor their performance, swiftly addressing any concerns that arise · Providing 360 feedback to theWarehouse Operatives, ensuring theyre not just working but thriving. Your motivational prowess will inspire the team to unleash their full potential. · Ensuring the timely fulfilment of orders, across all channels, utilising the Shift Planner like a maestro· Overseeing the flawless dispatch of completed orders—On Time, In Full, every time. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are: · Previous experience in a comparable role, demonstrating a solid grasp of end-to-end warehouse processes. Ideally, youve honed your skills in a3PL or retail brand DC environment. · A wizard at organisation and prioritisation. You effortlessly juggle tasks with finesse. · A sharp problem solver and decision-maker, you dont just face change – you embrace it. Proactivity It’s your middle name. · Proficientin Microsoft Office and well-versed in the art of Warehouse Management Systems.
