We supply over 5,000 distributors and end-users in the UK, and has a network of 50 international distributors globally, covering Europe, North and South America and Asia Pacific.We are a Company looking for a Product Manager to support and grow our successful automotive product portfolio for the Passenger Car, Classic and Motorsport markets.Responsibilities:

Ownership of the automotive product portfolio: carry out market research, competitor analyses and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure products not only meet market requirements but are best in class.

Manage products through full lifecycle: define product strategy and roadmaps for product development; steer NPD; direct new product launches and manage product retirement process.

Pricing: set and regularly review pricing to ensure product lines are competitive whilst meeting profit and revenue goals.

Support and guide Marcomms: communicate marketing strategy; advise on target markets and audiences; develop positioning and messaging for product lines; create product copy, develop sales tools and marketing collateral.

Manage internal stakeholders: present strategy and report progress to senior management; work collaboratively with other departments including Sales, Technical, Purchasing, Operations and Quality.

About youYou will be educated to degree level in an engineering, scientific or marketing discipline with two years’ experience in a product management or similar role, preferably in a B2B industry.orhave five years’ experience in a product management or similar role, preferably in a B2B industry.Ideally with a background within the automotive industry and familiar with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP software, you will also:

Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.

Be a self-motivated, highly organised team player.

Be a natural leader, able to manage key stakeholders and win buy-in.

Understand business basics: margin, ROI, profit and loss.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
