1st Line Engineer x2IT Managed Service ProviderRamsgate, Kent£21,500 + Company SharesThe Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for two new recruits for our clients Service Desk, based out of their offices in Ramsgate, Kent.The organisation provides IT Support services to a client base that spans the South East of England and they have had much success in doing so over the past 20 years they have been operating. This organisation is unique as it is Employee-Owned, meaning staffget a percentage of the profits on a yearly basis.As a 1st Line Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting their customers hardware and software related issues over the phone and email, via their ticketing system. You will gain experience across Desktop, Server and Networking Support.Key Responsibilities: -* Troubleshoot desktop and server problems reported by customers andor monitoring systems.* DesktopLaptopServer support.* Active Directory and Group Policy* Windows Server and Windows 10.* Office365.* Networking (LANWANWLANVLAN).* Firewalls, Access Points, and network switches.* Various customer related software (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.).* Provide solutions to incident and problems (and escalating internally to senior engineers when needed).* Contribute to internal policies, procedures, and processes.* Prioritising and managing several open support requests at once.* Keeping accurate records and documentation up to date when required.* Detailing notes and customers in a clear and concise manner.
