Job Description

Support WorkerOur client is recruiting caring and positive thinking Support Workers, who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives to join one of its prestigious staff teams in a Residential Care Home for adults living with learning disabilities and mental health disorders in Rainworth.Location: Rainworth, NottinghamshireSalary: £17,152 - £19,374 per annum (£8.91 to £10.07 per hour) plus enhancementsHours: 37 per week, full timeClosing Date: Thursday 31 December 2020You will be expected to work varied shifts on a rota basis including weekends, bank holidays, night working and sleep-ins. A bonus is paid for waking nights and double time paid for Christmas and New Year shifts. In addition, an allowance is paid for sleep-ins. You need to be able to demonstrate an understanding towards individuals who are experiencing great changes in their lives that may have learning difficulties, autism and some behaviours of concern.Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided.
