Job Description

We have an exciting temporary positionfor aBusiness Support Administrator to join a leading public sector organisation in Nottingham.Working primarily at Mansfield Day Services, with occasional cover required at Ashfield DayServices. The successful candidate will be the sole business support member on-site, supporting a large team and a diverse group of adult clients with various needs.

  • Job Type: Temporary, Full-time, 37 Hours a week - Monday to Friday
  • Location: Nottingham, NG21
  • Salary: £12.18 per hour
Main Duties
  • Handling various payments including budgets, lunch money, and petty cash.
  • Arranging transport for service users.
  • Making records, maintaining accurate data, and passing on information efficiently.
  • Managing staff paperwork and ensuring all administrative tasks are up to date.
  • Providing advice and guidance to customers, business partners, and others on business processes and operational service issues.
  • Organising meetings and events, including booking venues, issuing invitations, distributing papers, and taking minutes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with a diverse range of people including service users, family members, team leaders, and managers.
  • Proficient ICT skills with the ability to input data accurately and efficiently across various systems and spreadsheets.
  • A personable, friendly, patient, and hardworking individual.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
