Job Description

Overview A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Paralegal to join a thriving, exciting and dynamic Childcare Department in Rotherham, with opportunities for hybrid working. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate who wantsto join a firm that has genuine progression routes. You will provide support and assistance to Child Care Lawyers and proactively progress matters and also communicate effectively with both client and business partners.The client With offices across the country, our client is an award-winning firm that is an approachable and friendly firm who continually encourages development and inclusivity to all their staff members and provide a competitive reward package inclusive of agile working.The role

  • Manage a small case load of files and straight forward care proceedings
  • Proactively support the Child Care Lawyers with the progression of client matters
  • Assisting with preparing client statements
  • Contacting experts
  • Drafting and preparing applications
  • Covering straightforward hearings
The ideal candidate
  • A minimum of 1 years hands on paralegal experience within a family or childcare department
  • The ability to deal with sensitive matters
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
