Job Description

Senior Property Manager / Head of Property ManagementThis established and forward thinking independent Estate and Letting Agents are now seeking either a Senior Property Manager or a Head of Property Management (subject to experience) to join a flourishing operation and assist with the departments expansion. Both roles will also involve overseeing part of a vast property portfolio.

  • Senior Property Manager £30,000 - £35,000 (to oversee 2 Property Managers)
  • Head of Property Management £40,000 - £45,000 (to oversee a team of PMs spanning several sites)
Senior Property Manager / Head of Property Management
  • Dealing with all enquiries from Tenants and Landlords to ensure smooth and efficient running of the property portfolio
  • You must be able to solve all problems for each landlord and not expect them to provide a solution
  • Liaising and co-operating with relevant Lettings Negotiators on matters pertaining to the property portfolio
  • The Head of Property Management would also oversee the teams as a whole and would manage their performance and ensure compliance standards are maintained at all times.
Senior Property Manager / Head of Property Management - Additional duties:
  • Resolving all property related issues, providing efficient solutions to tenants and landlords
  • Serving notices & liaising with solicitors
  • Leaks (as can be too time consuming for reactive maintenance dept)
  • Terminations
  • Processing post (Service Charge & Ground rents)
  • Inspections (zoom & in person), deposit returns & all LL & TT queries
  • Any other ad-hoc or required related duties
Senior Property Manager / Head of Property Management - Skills Required:
  • A calm, unflappable person, with strength of character (required when dealing with issues like return of deposits or repairs required to a property)
  • Systematic approach with strong administrative skills
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Secretarial skills would help so that the applicant would be able to generate their own letters.
