We are looking for someone with experience of developing maintaining and optimising WordPress websites.Working within the design & development team, youll be responsible for working across a variety of development tasks for a wide range of clients.We are ideally looking for the following: Excellent understanding and working knowledge of HTML(5) & CSS(3) best practices. Good understanding and working knowledge of PHP Good understanding and working knowledge of jQuery and/or Vanilla JS Strong understanding of WP backend structure and development Experience debugging in the like of Chrome Inspector Comfortable working on a wide range of tasks from monthly maintenance packages, brochure/ecommerce websites, site migrations and website optimisations. An understanding of developing a site accurately according to the original designs. Basic understanding of UX and UI principles Able to work to your own initiative as well as being a good team player that is happy to share ideas A desire to learn about our clients and have a motivation to do the best job possible. It would also be beneficial to have experience in any of the following tools/practices. Plugin Development APIs Git Advanced Custom Fields for WP Figma Lambda or other cross browser/device testing Shopify developmentNow. Lets look at the good bits!
