Job Description

Premier Work Support are delighted to be recruiting for a permanent Sous Chef for a well-established 5 AA Star, 1 Rosette Establishment based in the beautiful countryside near the Mendip Hills.This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for the kitchen, who is looking for a new opportunity to join a prestigious company. We are looking for a proactive person to join a team working together to help this destination establishment continue to build on an already there reputation. In this forward thinking organisation the hours are based on a 4 day, 12 hour shift working week inthe kitchen. You must have a passion for food, serving excellent quality dishes using local produce.Duties:

  • Establish and maintain excellent standards of great service.
  • Consistency in every dish prepared, ensuring the kitchen reaches its potential.
  • Taking responsibility for Health and Safety compliance and meeting all food hygiene regulations.
  • Working to help achieve good margins, controlling wastage and preparation.
  • To work and lead by example, helping to create a positive working environment.
  • Ensuring the consistent quality, rotation and levels of stock.
This role will be assisting the head chef to help build and create a dining experience, whilst helping to provide a service to help gain repeat customer business. We require someone who will bring in a passion for the industry to work with them everyday.A chef with experience in providing high quality food, and continuously striving to learn and endeavouring to better themselves.Any applicant for this role must have a driving licence and access to their own vehicle due to the location of the client.If this is the role for you please apply now!
