Apprenticeship Assessment Officer Radstock£19,408 - £21,849 per annumPermanent Full-time hours 37 a week 52 weeks a year 30 days annual holiday plus bank holidays 17% pension Responsible to: Apprenticeship Manager The Government has committed a large budget to incentivize employers to support apprenticeships and traineeships in the UK and as a result, FE Colleges are busy ensuring there is a varied offering for learners to choose from As a result of growth, a position for an apprenticeship assessment officer has become availableThe key purpose of the role is to ensure that all aspects of apprenticeship assessment is monitored and apprentices are registered on the appropriate qualifications to the relevant awarding body with a key focus on gateway readiness and End Point Assessments evidence to make a successful claim. A brief outline of the role is provided but full details will be given by way of the job description and person spec upon application In brief, you will support the Apprenticeship Manager in ensuring that all apprenticeship activity within the College is of high quality and fully compliant with statutory and regulatory delivery and funding requirements. You will ensure that all apprentices have EPA provisions in place and that all staff involved with each apprentice are aware of all relevant details and requirements to pass gateway criteria. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Apprenticeship Assessment Plans and the requirements of all current and planned College apprenticeships, with reference to End Point Assessment. You will alert colleagues to changes and revisions in assessment requirements. and ensure all apprentices are registered with the appropriate awarding bodies so that assessment can take place.If this role is of interest then please do send me your cv for a confidential discussion An enhanced DBS will be required for this role Mandatory statutory online training will be required in PREVENT, Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness, and Health and Safety.
