Engineering Team LeadNorth NorfolkMonday to Friday, office hoursSalary - attractive, negotiable DOEAre you an experienced Engineering Team Lead or Supervisor with previous experience in electrical or mechanical builds or the maintenance of factory machinery, road vehicles, or aircraftsISQ Recruitment is seeking Engineering Team Lead for one of our clients based in Norfolk. This role is part of an innovative project and definitely not your standard engineering role! In this position as an Engineering Team Lead you will be overseeing a team of technicians working on various in-house prototype electrical and/or mechanical projects. Key Responsibilities:* Take ownership of Safety in the workplace and ensure that daily briefings are completed with safety in focus.* Distribute and track work tasks according to Delivery plan / Work orders.* Work with Project Managers and Engineers to achieve business goals.* Ensure technicians are equipped with the correct Tooling & Equipment to carry out tasks.* Issue permits to work and ensure that they are followed and engaged in by the Technicians.* Work closely with Stores, Manufacturing and Procurement to ensure parts or available before tasks are started.Work Schedule:Monday -Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexibility for occasional overtime)Candidate Requirements:* Has a proactive approach to managing safety, is a Leader in safety culture.* Capable of operating the site in the absence of management.* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.* Experienced and skilled in working in pressured environments.* Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with good attention to detail.* Own transport is necessary due to locationIf you are looking for a new challenge and considering change of environment - do not miss the opportunity - apply now!
