Job Description

Our client, located to the north east of Norwich, is a well-established independent company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of timber framed buildings nationally.They are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Assistant to join their team.The majority of your time will be customer-facing but this is a varied role and there will be opportunities to develop and play to your strengths.Note: This is NOT a cold calling role. However there is sales involved - you are selling their bespoke designs etc.Duties will include:

  • Calling prospective customers who have made enquiries via website
  • Conversing with customers to understand their requirements and propose a suitable solution
  • Liaising with in-house Designers regarding customers needs
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotation documents
  • Follow up and tracking of leads and enquiries
  • Liaising with existing customers to inform them of progress etc.
  • Keeping accurate customer records
  • Ad hoc admin tasks
  • Contributing to Social and Digital Marketing and Website content
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Customer Service role and an understanding of the process and journey involved in bespoke goods.This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, passionate team with a flexible working environment, that will allow you to develop and grow your skills.Salary dependent upon relevant experience.
