You will mentor & motivate colleagues; champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement whilst ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework. You will provide excellent hands on clinical support to our nursing residents supporting and advocating dignity and choice and will embrace our Living Well with Dementia Strategy helping to educate those you supervise in creating an environment that focus’ on the enrichment of our residents lives.Who you areAn NMC Registered Nurse you will be well versed in Care Planning processes, Catheterisation, Wound Care, Venepuncture, palliative care and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.Where youll workOur care home in Quorn will offer fully personalised care in a luxurious setting.When our home opens on Farley Way in Quorn in October 2020, it will offer high quality round-the-clock care services, including residential and nursing care, short stays, plus expert dementia care. Our team will be able to care for residents at every stage of their care journey.Our Quorn care home will offer spacious, fully furnished bedrooms, each with its own en-suite wet room. Residents will be welcome to personalise their roomhowever they wish. Some ground floor bedrooms will even open onto our landscaped gardens and have their own patio area. The home will also have its own contemporary café, cinema and hair and beauty salon, so there will be plenty to do, come rain or shine.The care home will be divided into different suites - collections of bedrooms with a dining room and lounge. Creating smaller communities in the home makes it easier for residents to get to know each other, and it keeps hustle and bustle to a minimum, which helps residents who are living with dementia.
