Job Description

HR Administrator- Aurora EcclesContract:PermanentThe Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.Our Aurora Eccles Schoolin Norwich are looking for a detailed and dedicatedHR Administrator.Aurora Eccles School provides flexible day placements for students aged 7 to 19 years with communication and associated difficulties or specific learning difficulties suchas dyslexia. Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning.The Role:The role has responsibility for the efficient management of all HR & Training administrative processes relatingto the entire employee lifecycle in line with company, regulatory and legal requirements. The post holder will undertake a full range of administrative tasks as well as communication (verbal and in written) with candidates, employees, management and externalbodies ensuring data protection, confidentiality and the reputation of The Aurora Group are maintained.Key Duties:Duties will vary and you must expect to lend a hand wherever is required, this is a very busy and challenging role that will require a huge amountof multitasking.

  • Experience working in a professional generalist HR Administrator role, ideally in a school college or care environment.
  • Highly literate and numerate with a high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook and interest in and ability to learn other databases.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and on own initiative, with ability to manage own time and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Competent and accurate note taking.
  • Highly organised and able to organise events etc.
  • High levels of interpersonal skill with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and ensure the delivery of an efficient and personable service.
  • Confidence to challenge others or report a potential compliance or safeguarding contravention.
Due to the location of the school candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
