Job Description

Design and Technology Teacher - Aurora Eccles School, NorfolkClosing date: OngoingAurora Eccles School:Aurora Eccles School provides flexible day placements for students aged 7 to 16 years with communication and associated difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some may be onthe autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning.Note, the successful candidate is likely to only work in the secondary age range.To take a virtual look around our school please click here: Eccles Virtual TourKeyDuties:Essential experience:

  • PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
Desirable experience:
  • Experience of working in a special school environment and in particular with pupils with autism.
Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs
  • The ability to work as part of a team and support other colleagues when necessary.
  • To have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • To undertake Team Teach training as directed.
  • To work as reasonably directed by the Head teacher and undertake any other non-specified duties appropriate to the post.
Due to the location of the school candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.Whats on offer
