We have a great opportunity for you to join the Hydraflow team at Newport as a Hydraulic Service Engineer!If you have previous hydraulics experience and looking for a fresh challenge with a highly successful site and company this could be the role for you.On the 9th December 2019 we acquired Hydra Engineering Services (Hydraflow Hydraulics) who specialise in the repair and reconditioning of large cylinders and offer considerable expertise in related MRO services. These include on-site fault-finding and testing of hydraulic pumps, power pack refurbishment, build and custom design, as well as valve repair. It serves customers in the steel, marine, industrial, and quarrying and mining industries, as well as related heavy plant machinery.You could be joining a team of 18 highly skilled hydraulic engineers who operate from sites in Gloucester, Somerset and Newport, South Wales.Main responsibilities would include:• Reading and understanding of hydraulic circuit drawings• Carry out testing on hydraulic pressure systems• Strip/repair/refurbish/rebuild and commission hydraulic systems including powerpack, motors and valves• Refurbishment of hydraulic cylindersWhats in it for you
