Job Role: Valve Assembler Hours: Full Time (Temp)Shifts: Shifts: 37 hours per week. 08:00-16:45 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-12:00 on FridaysSalary: 21k - 23k depending on experience. Their dedication to developing products that continue to satisfy the demands of process control today has earnedus a reputation for supplying one of the finest and comprehensive ranges of butterfly valves and actuators in the world.The company is looking for someone to join their team you will be responsible for building and testing valvesResponsibilities:To Assemble and Test the range of products in accordance with written/verbal instructions which include record value serial numbers and material melt number for PED complianceTo test proprietary Actuators and Ancillaries, in accordance with instructions and assist in the rectification of identified products as instructed, investigation of returned products when required. Assist in the Packing and Despatch activity, when requiredTo select, withdraw and return product to the Warehouse in order to perform the above duties, that safe working practices are followed, in compliance with Company and Health and Safety regulationsTo report any shortages or defective product to the Production SupervisorOther activities may require: Travel to Customers sites in the UK and Overseas when the need arises.Specific Qualifications / Previous Experience:No formal qualifications are necessary, but must be prepared to undertake repetitive manual work to a high standardExperience of working in an assembly/production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be givenPlease contact me for details.
