Job Description

Your ResponsibilitiesTo provide commercial support to the UK business, through managing the procurement and framework process as well as the local warehouse to guarantee smooth processing:

  • Identify all appropriate procurement and framework opportunities and ensure effective and efficient completion of submissions to ensure Medartis are in the strongest possible position of winning a prominent position within the tender
  • Provision of quotes for customers within the procurement process and external to the tender process
  • Managing of discount structure and review process with customers in line with tender/framework or local agreements
  • Ensure efficient and stable warehouse processes and responsibility of the warehouse operator
    • To conduct all daily financial tasks to ensure financial fitness in a professional, timely and efficient manner including:
  • Accurate detailed reports of financial status
  • Sales ledger management (credits/returns/outstanding issues)
  • Compliance and completion of all necessary taxation processes such as PAYE, Intrastat, VAT
  • Company banking/maxflow- payment of invoices and cash return to the Headquarter
  • Monthly reporting on financial status including P&L review and discussion with GM
  • Annual finance review process in collaboration with Basel finance team
    • Pro-actively engage with and develop a close collaborative relationship with the Headquarter in Switzerland and with appropriate internal and external customers.We are looking for a candidate with:
  • Experience with tender preparation and submission
  • Understanding and knowledge of NHS and private market procurement process
  • Commercial & Financial acumen, number driven, ideally with experience in dealing with financial tasks
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite software, especially Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP, preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills at all levels and the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Gathers and analyses information skilfully
