Job Title: Facilities Soft Service Team leader/ ManagerLocation/Trust: Greater Manchester Mental HealthPrestwich Hospital M25 3BLDepartment: Facilities Soft ServiceBand/Pay rate: £16.04Hours: 30Placement Ref: 37289The RoleCan you bring your excellent administration skills and knowledge to our Facilities DepartmentWould you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other Would you like to work in a Trust that recently had good in their CQC report This location is easily accessible by public transport and has onsite parking.If you answered yes, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust would love to hear from you.We have a temporary placement opportunity available for a Team leader/ Manager at Prestwich Hospital will be providing the following support to the Medical Secretary team.To provide general management of Facilities, Hotel, Housekeeping and Domestic services within the Trust, to ensure efficient and quality site management services and compliance.To ensure the Trust`s site management services are governed within agreed policies and procedures and are budgeted for within agreed terms.Actively participate in operational and strategic decision making by attendance of Trust development groups and other relevant meetings and to undertake a project management role when required.To provide, where specified, subject matter expertise for specific technical services, across all localities.To act as an initial contact for external organisations, co-ordinate site queries and attend to them in a timely manner.Liaise with service specific Estates and Facilities staff to ensure smooth management and delivery of support services and to assist them in problem solving and implementation of remedial action.* 1.1 - Responsible for the efficient delivery of high quality, Facilities, Hotel services and Domestic services across the Trusts various sites, including a timely response for ad-hoc situations that require swift resolution.* 1.2 - Ensure highly effective communication systems are in place to keep staff, contractors and service users informed of service, Directorate and Trust issues in respect of Facilities related matters.* 1.3 - Provide day - to - day leadership and operational control to ensure the Facilities Service is developed and maintained to meet or excel the patient`s present and future expectations, in respect of all Facilities Services matters* 1.1 - Responsible for the efficient delivery of high quality, Facilities, Hotel services and Domestic services across the Trusts various sites, including a timely response for ad-hoc situations that require swift resolution.* 1.2 - Ensure highly effective communication systems are in place to keep staff, contractors and service users informed of service, Directorate and Trust issues in respect of Facilities related matters.* 1.3 - Provide day - to - day leadership and operational control to ensure the Facilities Service is developed and maintained to meet or excel the patient`s present and future expectations, in respect of all Facilities Services matters* 1.4 - To deputise, as necessary for the Facilities Manager in managing a day to day Facilities issues, attending meetings, events and representing the Trust at internal and external meetings and events.* 3.1 - Standard driving skills to drive between the various locations* 3.2 - To use whatever communication devices provided, to ensure a flexible and responsive service* 3.3 - Standard keyboard skills, use of handheld computers and wireless devicesThe skills required areNHS Experience at Band 5 or AboveManagement or Team Leader experienceNegotiation skillsMeeting managementFacilities/Hotel Services desirableGreater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust provides community-based and inpatient mental health care and treatment to a population of 1.2 million people living in Bolton, Salford, Trafford and Manchester.The Trust provides a wide range of more specialised mental health and outstanding substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the North West of England and beyond.
