Band 8 (a) -15hours per week,secondment or fixed term, 1 year.The GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre (formerly CBT Training Centre) is renowned for providing extremely high quality training to students in CBT and other evidence-based psychological therapies across the North West region and beyond. Over the last 10 years the Training Centre has been successful in securing national funding to deliver Postgraduate Training in Evidence Based Psychological Therapies for Children and Young People, in conjunction with the University of Manchester, as part of the national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies for Children and Young People (CYP IAPT) project.We are looking for BABCP accredited practitioners to act as clinical supervisors and tutors on the CBT pathway of our Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence Based Psychological therapies for Children and young people. Those who are highly skilled in the delivery of CBT, having received specialist training and supervision themselves in the application of CBT with children and young people with anxiety and depression. Suitable candidates would be those who have had a significant period of CBT training and specialist supervision, and with significant post qualification experience of supervised clinical practice.Prospective candidates will be enthusiastic about training and skills development with experience in the delivery of CBT supervision.
