Job Description

Barron Williams Executive Search have been retained on an exclusive basis by our client, a well-established, unique B2C services provider. The business is a privately owned and operated regulated financial services provider, offering a highly tailored serviceto consumers planning to achieve their long-term financial goals. Based in Teesside, the close-knit team of c50 colleagues together deliver great outcomes for their customers via their own branded, high touch, service-oriented process. With the business seekingto develop further growth opportunities in its’ successful core B2C business, further growth has been targeted via exciting plans to develop their growing B2B service offering within the Financial Services market also. The right Head of Marketing is now required to lead the development and execution of those dual strategic goals.The Head of Marketing will play a key role in driving the required change in marketing operations - leading from the front in transitioning the business into a genuinely marketing-led organisation. You will hold full responsibility for drivingthe planned growth in sales revenues through quality client enquiry generation for the core B2C brand and market development for the new B2B service offering. You will be an experienced Marketing leader with relevant B2C services marketing experience (& ideallyB2B). You will apply your expertise to the role and have the drive to deliver against the company’s growth objectives.   • As a key SMT member, drive the growth strategy by executing the strategic marketing plan
  • Deliver fully integrated marketing plans and effective campaigns to drive overall revenue growth
  • Review and refine core B2C marketing tactics to deliver targeted levels of quality new client introductions
  • Develop appropriate marketing initiatives to kick start the growth of the B2B service offering
  • Deliver marketing events and further initiatives to grow the sales pipeline and long-term brand awareness
  • Lead your team in delivering effective marketing support for the business
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with functional colleagues and external partners
Location: North-East EnglandPackage: Negotiable package (salary up to £60k + benefits)Candidate profile:
  • Ambitious and commercial Marketing professional, seeking a pivotal role in a fast-growth business
  • Demonstrable operational pedigree in relevant settings, experienced in KPI-driven service marketing
  • Collaborative and engaging, able to advise and guide as well as lead on all marketing-related issues
  • Evidence of business growth achieved in B2C markets (additional B2B marketing experience also valuable)
  • Can articulate the customer journey valuably to deliver a consistent flow of targeted new customers
  • Events & comms experience useful, able to communicate brand and product messaging commercially
  • Genuine team player, engaging and collaborative, works well with internal & external partners
  • CIM or Marketing / relevant degree anticipated in addition to practical achievement in career to date
