Job Description

We are hiring a sample technician for a leading taste and nutrition company in Portbury, Bristol.The successful candidate will collaborate on the accurate preparation of samples in accordance with standards and process required.JOB TYPE:

  • Temporary to permanent
DUTIES:
  • Supporting Commercial and RD&A teams by blending, preparing and packing samples of finished products and raw materials.
  • Dispatching Samples with required documentation and according to WOWs and procedures.
  • Maintaining and replenishing raw material stocks as required.
  • Will involve heavy lifting of upto 25 kgs.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area in accordance with Hygiene and company food production standard.
  • Updating SFDC with pertinent information such as when dispatched or material shortages and delays as per WOWs.
  • Ensuring samples are in Compliance with business rules, confirming with senior staff where necessary.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
  • Minimum academic qualifications are GCSE grade C (4/5) in mathematics and English language.
  • Demonstrable interest in Food industry, technology or processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good teamworking skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Time management
BENEFITS:

SHIFT TIME:
  • 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
SALARY:
  • £11 per hour
