Job Description

Job summary:

  • Location: Marsh Lane, Royal Portbury Dock, Bristol, BS20 7XJ
  • Salary: Competitive Basic Salary (plus excellent company benefits)
  • Hours: Full Time 40.25 Hours per week MON - SUN (554 Shift Pattern)
Were looking for Yard Assistantto join our fast-growing team at Cazoo, helping to transform the way people buy used cars and making buying a car no different to buying any other product online today.The main responsibility of the Yard Assistant will be to test drive vehicles in an effective and efficient manner; whilst ensuring vehicles are in the correct location to enable the workshop to operate to its potential. What youll be doing:
  • Communicating with all departments as and when necessary to ensure consistent work flow.
  • Monitoring progress of the vehicles and ensure the workshop is updated when required.
  • Reporting any Health and Safety issues to the shift manager as soon as they occur.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Driving at 5 miles per hours or less around the site.
  • Moving vehicles as directed by management.
  • Achieving the KPIs attributed to this role.
  • Advising on any issues and faults that may relate to cars during road test.
  • Ensuring vehicles are driven carefully without causing any damages.
  • Ensuring vehicles are secure at all times.
  • Parking vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Operating Cazoo Net as required.
Required skills and experience:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience working within a similar position.
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently.
  • Responsible and organised.
  • Team player
