INTERMEDIATE / SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEEROffice based roleWe offer 28 days paid holiday Inc public Holidays; 3 days compulsory leave between Christmas & New Year.Workplace pension Optional private healthcareSalary Range £38,000 - £60,000 dependent on qualifications & experienceDuties will include: -Site Survey workSite Inspections (including report writting)Production of feasibility reportsFull design (Drawings and Specification) for a wide range of electrical systems in buildings in a number of different sectors including healthcare, education, private and public housing, commercial and retail.Electrical Calculations (Lighting, Cable sizing, containment sizing, lightning protection etc. etc.)Liaising with Clients, Contractors, Other Consultants, Manufacturers etc.Review submissions and installations for compliance with design intent and good engineering practice.Witness commissioning activities, trials, and factory acceptance tests for compliance with design intent.Liaise with the other inhouse disciplines/team members.Initially the role will be office based under the guidance the Operations director, you will provide support as part of a team in delivering projects effectively, whilst maintaining technical excellence and compliance with all standards. The aim is for thesuccessful candidate to develop, become increasingly more independent and responsible for visiting a wide variety of sites to undertake feasibility surveys, attend site progress meetings and review installations. The role will require the candidate to be confident/competentin the design of electrical systems in buildings, use of design software, AutoCAD draughting software and assisting with the preparation of feasibility studies, project design and contract administration. Working closely with other team members, you will seeprojects through from inception to completion and handover.Minimum 10 years’ experience of building services designHND or degree in a relevant subject - Building Services desirableKnowledge of engineering principles and construction industry design processesKnowledge of current legislation e.g., Building RegulationsKnowledge of specification/NBS Engineering (desirable - not essential)Knowledge and understanding of BS7671
