Our clients Occupational Health Department is embarking on a transformational journey. This is an exciting time to join their organisation as they embark on further digitalisation, development of UK processes and standardisation across all of its UK sites.The Clinical lead role will be integral to this deployment and will be key in bringing the Occupational Health teams together.Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health and wellbeing and being part of a team of 23, you will manage a team of Occupational health professionals who provide a range of services to the business including pre-placement medicals, health surveillance,hygiene surveys, sickness referral support, biological monitoring and Havs assessments.As Lead Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Nursing Occupational Health service within their complete UK function by providing clinical oversight, standardised processes and training for Occupational Health Advisorsand Technicians. Accountable for the development of a professional and quality service delivered by suitability qualified staff within a modern Occupational Health department, the Lead Clinical Nurse will have direct line management responsibility to PortTalbot & Llanwern nursing staff, and be responsible for ensuring consistency of service delivery across our sites through clinical supervision and governance.
