Job Description

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Leadership Development Manager Location: Port Talbot / Hybrid (2 days a week on site) Salary: Up to £45,000 plus benefits including up to 16% Pension, Annual Pay Reviews and Bonus Schemes and Private Healthcare Do you want to engage with our Future Leaders and develop their skills and knowledge Can you drive a self-learning culture by providing an appetite for growth Are you able to influence individuals to promote engagement with business goals What you will do: * The Human Resources function plays an integral part in supporting the businesses people strategy and offers professional HR Support and guidance to each area of the organisation. * Reporting to the Director, Talent and Reward as part of the People Development Team, the primary objective of the Leadership Development Manager is to aid in the development and implementation of our Line Management development initiatives and tactics. Theseinitiatives are designed to enhance the proficiency and skills of Managers at all levels within the organisation * Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Talent Development Team to assist in executing the interventions identified through our internal Talent Board framework which supports the development of High Performing employees from the business. Furthermore,a significant aspect of the Leadership Development Manager position involves overseeing and improving the learning modules of the Graduate Development Programme. Role and Responsibilities: * Identify, design and evaluate professional "Best in Class" Learning and Development initiatives, I order to meet the developing needs of the business, following a blended learning model * Attend Talent Boards and/or post Talent Board meetings as a subject matter expert in training and development interventions * Manage and continually review the Graduate Development Programme and associated activities to ensure it meets the needs of the business and provides an excellent experience for our Graduates * Develop and implement learning and development interventions including workshops, training sessions, active learning sets, group or individual coaching support development of the management teams * Keep up to date with new innovations and identify those that could be implemented * Lead on the management of specific Graduate modules, working closely with the wider Talent and Development team * Lead on the delivery of our engagement sessions with Senior Leaders population; * Manage the internal digital learning programme including promotion and usage; * Work closely with the Business HR teams to develop line management capability creating "stretch" options at an early stage in a line managers career. What you will need We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate * A good level of education and experience within the area * Experience of designing and delivering management development interventions * Experience of training delivery and coaching of others * Tact, diplomacy and discretion as well as excellent interpersonal skill.
