Job Description

Are you a specialist Demand Planner Highly Skilled in Excel reporting do you have experience of using systems such as Spotfire and AnaplanIf so, this role may be for you!Job Title: Commercial Demand Planner & Reporting SpecialistDepartment: Commercial ServicesLocation: RemoteSalary: £36,600 - £41,000 Depending on ExperienceRole Type - Permanent Full time.The Role Some of the main responsibilities within your scope include:

  • Update and own the Sector unconstrained forecast, ensuring an on-time submission into the process each cycle, helping support the creation of quarterly Sales Briefs and the Annual Plan
  • Manage and improve the forecast accuracy of the overall Sector plan, challenging forecasts with the Account teams where needed
  • Management of the Sector Sales Brief, ensuring that order bookings intake follows expectation, and managing any further risks or opportunities to the plan
  • Responsible for creating, and maintaining, the monthly Sector delivery plan, taking into consideration stocks, bookings, manufacturing availability and customer constraints, with the aim of meeting our agreed targets each month
  • Alongside the Account Teams, aim to improve the value of the Sector sales mix
  • Manage the stock requirements of the Sector orderbook
  • Produce and present Weekly KPIs/Reports to Sector Sales Director and Management Team
  • Ownership of the Sector Master Data
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Services team, and relevant Sector, to help automate tasks/reports to improve efficiency and data reporting
The Candidate To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the below experience and skills:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a business, or commercial discipline
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use your own initiative and be comfortable making effective and timely decisions
  • Knowledge and considerable experience in interrogating systems and developing management reports/operational tools and can analyse and present data in a commercial environment
  • Confidence to negotiate within acceptable commercial parameters exploiting commercial opportunities when they arise
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to help drive the right result for the Sector and business
  • Strong IT skills in office applications, especially excel. Experience using Spotfire and/or Anaplan would be beneficial
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills coupled with the creative ability to develop new opportunities for further enhancing the customer experience.
