Job Description

Job Title: Service Delivery Facilitator Salary: £23,836 Annually Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidaysHours: 37 hours per week (5 days)About us: Challenging Behaviour Support CIC provide a comprehensive approach to improving the quality of life, mental health and resilience of families living with additional needs and challenging behaviour.Responsible for:

  • Delivering and developing training programmes
  • Engaging with parent carers on a 1:1 basis
  • Ensuring that principles of equality, diversity and accessibility are embedded into all training, projects and activities
  • Volunteer supervision and recruitment
  • Evaluations of programmes
  • Involving volunteers in group activities and training
  • Main duties
  • To facilitate training programmes
  • Facilitate group work
  • To provide input and develop new and exciting training workshops and programmes
  • To prepare course materials and content of training programmes in advance
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and programme effectiveness and report to Service Delivery Manager
  • To ensure all training materials are relevant and up to date
  • To work closely with Service Delivery Manager and assist with other relevant tasks
  • To recruit beneficiaries, internally and externally to attend Training Programmes
  • Working on a 1:1 basis with parent carers
  • Running wellbeing activities
  • This is not an exhaustive list. The post holder may be asked to carry out additional duties from time to time or, as required, by the developing needs of the service or organisation.Person SpecificationThe following are essential skills: (candidates who cannot demonstrate these skills will not be short listed)
  • Previous experience in delivering training and group work
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding around Additional Learning Needs
  • Experienced in IT skills, including MS Office and Powerpoint
  • To be willing to travel, including over-night stays to attend training to upskill
  • Experience of working 1:1 to parents
  • Good time-keeping skills to enable you to effectively manage training schedules
  • To have good problem-solving skills
  • The following arekey skills: (these skills are needed for the role but could be acquired on the job or through training within 6 months of appointment)
  • A teaching or training qualification e.g. Train the Trainer
  • The following are desirableskills: (these skills are preferable, and would enhance the application)
  • Speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in the Welsh language to an intermediate level would be highly desirable.
  • To be trained in specific programmes relating to Additional Learning Needs.
