Job Description

Head of HRAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Head Of HR to join a market leading life sciences company based in South Wales. As a Head of HR you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisations strategic agenda with a focus on customer satisfaction.The Head of HR will report directly to the CEO and youll lead the HR function whilst showing your expertise in various HR domains such as Recruitment, Payroll, L &D, Wellbeing and Engagement.About your role as a Head of HR:

  • Develop and execute strategic HR policies and initiatives
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent
  • Offer commercially sound advice and solutions on escalated employee relations matters, effectively managing risks associated with disciplinary actions, grievances, performance issues, restructuring, and TUPE.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to management across all levels to enhance people management practices.
  • Keep managers and partners informed with regular updates on UK Employment Law, mitigating legal risks for the business.
  • Oversee and audit the end-to-end payroll and benefits function, ensuring accurate and timely processing while complying with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
About you:
  • Thorough understanding of UK Employment Law.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in senior HR leadership roles.
  • At least 5 years experience managing payroll processes.
  • Proven track record in developing HR strategies and change initiatives covering the entire employee lifecycle.
  • CIPD qualified
